Your Letters Continue To Make A Difference!
First Season Episodes Back In The Schedule!

This information reposted with permission from ZaBaGaBe!

Greetings Space Cases!
Hope you're all finding that your new teachers are as much fun to tease as Miss Davenport and that school doesn't feel like 7 years of detention!
PETER DAVID and BILL MUMY are putting the finishing touches on their script for BABYLON 5 -- we'll let you know the details of filming and air dates as soon as we hear. BILL not only goes "back in the bone" on Monday, filming one of this season's appearances for Lennier, he's also about "99%" done with his second solo album (the first one, DYING TO BE HEARD, can be ordered from Infinite Vissions at 1-800-755-8735), has several film/tv projects in the works, and, for all you lucky LA folks, will be appearing with THE JENERATORS, at the Alligator Lounge on October 4th.
Don't forget, PETER will be appearing at DefCon 4 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the weekend of September 19, and hopes to see fans out there.
KRISTIAN AYRE'S new show, THE NEW GHOSTWRITER MYSTERIES, premieres next Saturday (Sept. 13th at 8 AM Eastern on CBS). You can check to see when it will air in your area by looking at:

http://www.tvguide.com/

You can also look on the back page of the current Disney Adventures magazine (with Timon and Pumba on the cover, doing a take on THE X FILES) for a very small cast picture from GHOSTWRITER. Watch for the next issue of DA (coming out on Sept. 16th) for an article on the season's new shows and more information on GW. You can also keep an eye on the various tv and entertainment magazines for more information about KRISTIAN'S character, Henry "Strick" Strickland.
Don't forget you can see BECKY HERBST on ABC's GENERAL HOSPITAL, weekdays from 3 - 4 PM Eastern, and watch for JEWEL STAITE on an episode of the new series, HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS.
Speaking of new projects, we're still waiting to hear about US releases for PAUL BORETSKY'S two series, COLD SQUAD and GENE RODDENBERRY'S EARTH:FINAL CONFLICT, and ANIK MATERN'S film, THE MINION.
Also, we have a report from Mary and Jeff Morris that they caught CARY LAWRENCE on Showtime's original program, THE HUNGER, in an episode entitled "But Always Behind Me I Hear". They didn't catch the whole show and missed the cast list in the opening credits, but they are sure it was CARY. Check the Showtime schedule for repeats.
And finally on the cast and crew notes, watch out for that Wet Spung stench! There have been a couple of Doppelgangers out there! Screen name "rahiazizi@aol.com" is NOT Rahi, nor is screen name "Jewel108@aol.com" Jewel Staite! Below is a list of the e-mail addresses to use to write to the SC cast and crew:

    KRISTIAN (RADU) AYRE Radu@andromeda5.com
    RAHI (BOVA) AZIZI RELAZIZI@aol.com
PAIGE (ROSIE) CHRISTINA PaigeC11@aol.com (YES! Paige has a NEW screen name!)
    JEWEL (CATALINA) STAITE Jewelinc@aol.com

IF you receive e-mail (or get instant messages or chat room conversation) from someone claiming to be one fo the SPACE CASES cast or crew and it's NOT from one of the above addresses, please keep a copy of it and let us know -- we can check it out for you.

On the fan club front, we're getting new members all the time, but losing members, too, mostly due to changes in e-mail addresses. PLEASE notify us BEFORE you change your screen name. Inactive screen names hold up the mailings. Thank you.
Remember to send us your questions for Bill Mumy and Paige Christina and your information on those SPACE CASES websites you all have created for the next issue of the newsletter. The UNOFFICIAL KRISTIAN AYRE WEB PAGE (http://www.andromeda5.com/) has just had a MAJOR upgrade and Lisa ahs done a TERRIFIC job! Be sure to check it out! SHARK'S SPACE CASES SITE (/) is also being updated all the time. It's worth the time to stop in regularly at both sites to see what's new!
Mary Morris tells us that GIZBOT FOLLIES, the SC fanzine is well on its way to completion, but she still needs some art! Please drop her a note at MaryMorris@aol.com if you'd like to submit some artwork!
Unfortunately, we once again must ask that you NOT send any chain letters, "pleas for help" or other junk mail to the ZaBaGaBe staff. These things are all frauds and just waste e-mailbox space that could be used for your letters and questions. Also, we each receive SEVERAL copies of these things, so, if you even consider sending us one, remember, we've already seen it at least a dozen times, so PLEASE do NOT send it!

Your letters ARE being heard again! NICKELODEON'S Programming Department tells us now that they WILL be airing ALL of the Season One episodes soon. As you can see from the schedule below, they will continue airing Season Two episodes through September, giving use a couple of Season One eps in October. But, beginning soemtime in November, they plan to air the Season One episodes, including the four not recently rerun. They want to bring the airplay count of the second season episodes even with the first season episodes before they begin rerunning them all again. But, partly because of YOUR LETTERS, they WILL rerun them all!
This all leads up to the usual plea to KEEP WRITING. The more letters written the better. It takes a VERY long time to get through to the network executives and make them see what you really want, but you ARE being heard and will continue to be heard if you keep it up! And be sure to spread the word about the campaign to letter to the editor of your local newspaper and/or tv station (they love this human-interest kind of stuff) -- write to People Magazine, TV Guide, US -- any place you can think of to get the word out about the show and the fans and just how very much you've accomplished! Here are the contact addresses. PLEASE do write again!

Greetings Space Cases!
Happy Labor Day weekend to you all!! We hope the weather co-operates with your picnic and pool party plans and that no Eatys show up to ruin the fun!
First, we'd like to make a club announcement! We'd like to welcome JTMU97@aol.com to the Command Crew (staff) of ZaBaGaBe!! JT has been helping out behind-the-scenes for a very long time and we decided to make his position official in recognition of all his contributions. Some of you may know JT and all the wonderful WAV files he's created from SPACE CASES -- you can find several on Lisa's Andromedan Star website (http://www.andromeda5.com/) -- just look in the download section -- or you can e-mail JT and ask him what he's got that you might like, just let him know what interests you most :) -- Welcome Aboard, JT!! Zabagabe!

PETER DAVID will be appearing at DefCon T clttp://www.webczar.com/defcon/) in Tulsa, Oklahoma the weekend of September 19, and hopes to see fans out there. Look for him and give him a big Zabagabe!!
PETER and BILL MUMY are still working hard on the BABYLON 5 episode and hope to have it completed soon. They are also writing a two-part Aquaman comic book together. And, for those of you lucky enough to be out Los Angeles way, BILL's group, THE JENERATORS, are playing the Alligator Lounge on October 4th. And, don't forget to look for BILL's solo album, Dying to Be Heard, and for re-releases of BARNES AND BARNES material through Rhino Records.
A reminder for those of you wondering about KRISTIAN'S new show, THE NEW GHOSTWRITER MYSTERIES, and whether it will be carried by your local CBS station, you can check out the address and phone number of the affiliates at:

http://cgi.cbsnews.com/affiliates/

Look for the show's premiere on Saturday, Sept. 13th at 8 AM Eastern (check your local listings -- we've always wanted to say that!) And, if you have access to the national newspaper, USA Today, from this past Monday, August 25th, you'll find a picture of KRISTIAN and his co-stars on page 3D.

Remember to send us your questions for Bill Mumy and Paige Christina and your information on those SPACE CASES websites you all have created for the next issue of the newsletter. And be sure to check out our unofficial homes on the WWW, SHARK'S SPACE CASES WEBSITE (/Home) and The UNOFFICIAL KRISTIAN AYRE WEB PAGE (http://www.andromeda5.com/). Both continue to have frequent updates -- animated GIFs, new WAV files -- all sorts of good things!

Would those of you who are members of AOL and are having difficulty getting into the NICKELODEON area to look at the SPACE CASES information there please drop a note to ZaBaGaBe and describe what happens when you try to get in? We've managed to contact the folks in charge of that area and they need to know what problems you all are having so they can fix the trouble and get you into the site.

Things on the NICKELODEON front remain at a standstill. We **really** need to get the energy back into the campaign and push for, if not negotiations with SCIFI, at least a TV movie to resolve it all and get the cadets home. The more letters written the better. You've all been so loyal and faithful in this long, hard fight, we KNOW you can keep it up! And be sure to spread the word about the campaign to letter to the editor of your local newspaper and/or tv station (they love this human-interest kind of stuff) -- write to People Magazine, TV Guide, US -- any place you can think of to get the word out about the show and the fans and just how very much you've accomplished! We're now 385 members strong and we get new members every week!! Here are the contact addresses. PLEASE do write again!
